Colombo → Pinnawala → Kandy
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – Located about 90 km from Colombo, this sanctuary is home to rescued and orphaned elephants. Visitors can watch elephants being bathed in the Maha Oya River and fed with milk bottles – a truly heartwarming experience.
Kandy – Known as Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, Kandy is nestled in the central hills. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its rich history and scenic beauty.
